Mechanical Engineer

A$ A' A' ?Our global railway manufacturing client has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Mechanical Systems Engineer.
In this position you will be responsible for the engineering implementation of safety-critical door systems on locomotive and transit rail vehicles.
You will work across the entire project life cycle (pre and post install), from customer request and proposal creation, cost estimates and BOMs, creating technical specifications on system design to final installation, commissioning and testing.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with electromechanical components, embedded hardware, electrical safety systems, relay control logic and strong project management skills.
Requirements:

A cents EUR cents Develop system proposals containing system descriptions and interface analysesA cents EUR cents Create requirements traceability matrix for verification and validation phasesA cents EUR cents Create test plans and oversee qualification testing of system throughout the vehicle development.
A cents EUR cents Create and maintain complex system bills of material including cost estimatesA cents EUR cents Lead design reviews and direct resources from mechanical, electrical, industrial, quality, and software disciplines A cents EUR cents Perform risk analysis and mitigation plans for technical issues when they arise.
A cents EUR cents Oversee on-car commissioning of door systems to achieve final acceptance from the customerA cents EUR cents Interface with manufacturing engineering, quality, and production associates to ensure consistent product quality once in the delivery phase.
A cents EUR cents Propose an entrance system based on concepts and components from the global design portfolio that will meet customer functional specifications and industry standards (APTA, ADA, FRA, ASTM, IEEE, EMC standards, etc.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
