Oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations and monitor labor costs Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Overseeing payroll and inventory and costs Planning all staff and doctor meetings Monitor and analyze practice performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and partner with accountants Utilize electronic medical record systems to manage patient records and workflows and engage in all IT management as needed Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ordering as needed Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner Requirements:
8 years previous experience in a managerial role within a veterinary setting Knowledge of critical care practices and procedures Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Cornerstone Understanding of managed care principles and utilization management processes Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Note:
Experience in veterinary or hospital settings is a plus.
