Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and adoption - Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence - Prepare and organize case files for court hearings and trials - Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress - Schedule appointments and maintain attorney calendars - Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists - Attend court hearings and assist attorneys during proceedings - Maintain confidentiality of client information Skills:
- Strong legal drafting skills with the ability to write clear and concise legal documents - Proficient in conducting legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other relevant resources - Familiarity with family law procedures and regulations - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously - Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in document preparation - Effective communication skills to interact with clients, attorneys, and court personnel - Ability to negotiate settlements and communicate effectively on behalf of clients - Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices Note:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
