Without the guidance of a passionate Direct Support Professional, people with disabilities may never have the chance to live, learn, work, and engage socially with their community to the fullest of their ability.
What better way to be your best self than creating a career out of empowering others to do the same? Based on applicants preference, this position could be a Part-time/ 3 days a week position to work one on one with a person with disabilities in the Eldersburg area, or if preferred, it can be made into a fulltime 5 day a week position working in the Eldersburg and Westminster areas.

20 per hour The Direct Support Professional will:
Provide opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to participate in community events, employment, educational classes, or other activities of personal interest.
Assure the health, safety, and medical needs of the individual(s) are met at all times.

New Hire Orientation Coach Approach 30-60-90 Day Onboarding All DDA Mandated Trainings Full-time Employee Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits packages with coverage beginning 1st of the month following 60 days of hire.

High school diploma or GED A valid Maryland Driver's License with no more than 2 points.

Ability to be a team player and respond to changes and/or crisis in a calm and productive manner.
Demonstrate ability in providing support in a respectful manner that meets the various needs of persons served.
